Because of client budget constraints, we only had one model to use at the photo shoot. We also only had one set of generic football gear in which to photograph the model. From this I had to produce eight different players, from eight different teams, four of which had to be African-American.

I will use a detailed section of one of the players to illustrate the basic process, shown at the right. I am using the Seattle Seahawks playeras as an example since it also shows the process of turning the Caucasian model into an African-American player.

The client did not initially tell us we had to change the model to African-American until after the photoshoot. This is an example of meeting client’s expectations even when complex and problematic changes are thrown into the mix.
